Saint Attracta's Well, Roscommon
St Attracta's well at Monasteraden, near Ballaghdareen, County Roscommon has been frequented for centuries by women looking to become pregnant. As part of the ritual, stones, known a serpent's eggs, were taken home and returned once they became pregnant.
